DOD FY 2009 Pass Rates - Shawn A - 12-24-2009 Hello all! I've been lurking here for some time now. My "DL home" is at Degree Info. But since I have gleaned some great info here as well - it's time to contribute. Here are the DOD FY 2009 CLEP/DSST Pass Rates. Merry Christmas. DOD FY 2009 Pass Rates - operalady - 12-24-2009 Good to know. Thanks! DOD FY 2009 Pass Rates - Basket Weaver - 12-24-2009 Shawn, Welcome to the site and thanks for the info. For anyone reading the pass rates, I offer a bit of advice; pay attention to them as far as seeing the difficulty of the exam, but don't let them disuade you from attempting the test you need. I have seen many who would not even attempt a test based simply on a low pass rate. About 60% of the tests I took had a very low pass rate, if I had let these guide me I would still be working on my degree. After a while, I simply stopped looking at them and just hunkered down in my study...it paid off in the end. But, if you need a "hard" one, go for it. My 16 yr. old did Calculus CLEP for instance, Merry Christmas. I have been doing a lot of reading as I am preparing to take several CLEP/DSST tests. There is a lot of great info on these boards. I know I am bringing back an old thread but I found the data very useful. I took the data from the text file and made an excel sheet with combined sorted date. I think the data is still useful as the test have not changed much since 2009. I think these DOD stats are an excellent way to judge the difficulty of a test but we have to keep in mind that these guys usually get these test for free and usually do the test on base. It's amazing to see the pass/fail percentages between the on campus and on base test. I wonder if guys just get bored on base or take a test rather than do drills or something. |
