Ready for Intro Psych?? - greatwall - 12-16-2009

First I read through the REA Study Guide a couple times, highlighting and making notes when necessary.

- Took the CLEP Official study guide sample questions...scored 41/66. Reviewed answers and retook it, scored 64/66.

- Took both practice exams; scored 72/100 and then 76/100. Reviewed and then retook them; scored 99/100 and 99/100.

- Re-read through some parts of the REA book, read some supplemental material online.

- Took a Peterson's practice exam, scored 73/100.

I was supposed to take the exam today, but the proctor was unavailable due to an emergency. I'm scheduled to do it tomorrow morning at 11am. Am I ready? Do you guys have any tips for me? Thanks!!!

I agree, it sounds as though you are ready. Be sure to check out the specific exam feedback too. The test is one of the easier ones and it looks as though you took your studying serious. Good Luck!

Yeah, let me know what you scored and how prepared the REA book had you. I'm planning on taking this after American Gov't and all I'm planning on using is the REA book.

Yay!! I passed! Woo-hoo! I finished the test in about 40 minutes, then reviewed my answers in another 20. I received a score of 73. Big Grin

The REA is an excellent source, but the one Peterson's practice exam I took was really helpful as well. Know the questions and answers, because many of the questions on the exam were along the same lines.

Next up: Introductory Sociology, next Tuesday!

Congratulations! You were ready.

Like you, I've found REA books to be extremely beneficial. Many public libraries have them to take out.
