Here's to your health - frankiebleyes - 10-11-2009 Could anyone tell me if this DSST is considered science course for TESC? If anyone knows or can tell me where to find on TESC site where a list of what these tests will be considered as (science, math, history, social studies, etc.), I would very much appreciate it. I am looking for some additional science course credit for my son for TESC. Here's to your health - alleycat - 10-11-2009 I do not believe that it will fall under science. It would go under free electives or general electives. Here's to your health - IrishJohn - 10-11-2009 frankiebleyes Wrote:Could anyone tell me if this DSST is considered science course for TESC? I'm planning on taking DSST Astronomy and DSST Environment & Humanity, both of which I understand are doable for non-science types such as myself. Here's to your health - rona58 - 10-17-2009 Alison and Irish John are right. My application at TESC has been accepted but I'm not enrolled yet. An advisor there told me that HTYH will not fill the Science requirement. She recommended the Natural Sciences CLEP for 6 credits. I already have the DSST Environment under my belt- that was quite easy - but you need more than 3 science credits, even if it's a liberal arts major. |
