Has anyone taken Global Environmental Change - Lindagerr - 10-02-2009

I seem to remember seeing lots of times that this was an easy class.

Am I crazy? Or is reading 6 chapters and answering 2 discussion questions and 4 written questions every 2 weeks and a mid term and a final a lot of work??? Or am I just sick and cranky (I do Have a bad Sinus infection) my husband says this is a reasonable amount of work for 6 credits.

I am having a hard time reading all this stuff and it is only the first week.

I still would love some feedback on the size of discussion and written answers, I tend to be long winded and that could take a LOT of time. What is the normal length for this?

I did that that course and for 6 credits it was worth it. I didn't find it to be much more work than the 3 credit courses. The text book it very out of date, it was from 2000 and much has changed, so I found it necessary to look up current information for the papers. Mid term and a final = 6 credits. Worth it.

I think I am finding this is a very doable class with Earnshaw as a mentor. I have Diane Trainor and I think she is more demanding. I haven't had anything graded yet, but I asked the suggested length of the written assignment and she said 1-1 &1/2 pages per question. There wer 4 questions so with bib. mine was 8 pages, along with over 150 pages in text and 2 discussion post( 1 was just the intro) plus replies to discussion post. I am 2 weeks and 40 hours into this course. I guess I tend to over worry, but I want an A.
