Are the Peterson's tests typically more difficult than the actual exams?

Yes. Almost always. Generally, you will score five to ten points higher on the real test than on your Peterson's test - generally.

I've heard they're harder in general too...there might be a stray test here and there where it's actually easier than the real thing...

Generally they are more difficult but nothing compares with reading the feedback for the specific exam you are working on.

It's because she listens to opera. Wink

But yes, specific exam feedback is exceedingly helpful. I wouldn't be without it - ever.

I've always thought the Peterson's were easier myself. That's why I usually try to beat the passing score by at least 10-15 points before hitting the real exam.

Of course, doing it that way helps if they are harder as well, so I guess I've been covered regardless. Wink

I have found that to be the case once or twice, but most often they are harder than the real deal. And yes, scoring at least 10 points above passing is always something I try to do. Less opportunity for exam heartache that way.

Yeah I have taken one of the Peterson’s tests and some of the questions cover material I haven’t seen on the IC flashcards. I guess Peterson's just wants to have you more covered. The reason im asking is that I am going to take the World religions test next week.

Also, coming up are CLEP Humanities and CLEP Social Science and History...Those two are going to be EXTRA intimidating! I do look over the specific exam feedback. But if anyone has any advice on those as well I will gladly take it.
