TESC English Composition or Freshman College Composition - lostcamel - 08-26-2009 I'm a TESC student. I'm getting ready to take my first CLEP for English requirements. However Iâm confused on which to take. Does it matter, is harder than the other? English Composition with Essay or Freshman College Composition with Essay TESC English Composition or Freshman College Composition - MaieJaie - 08-26-2009 According to TESC's college catalog, either exam is accepted. A score of 50 or higher is needed for each to earn credit. English Composition with Essay or Freshman College Composition with Essay from the College Board site, it looks like the Freshman requires 2 essays at 45 minutes per essay, whereas English Comp requires just one essay for which you get 45 minutes. Also, Freshman is scored by your institution, English is scored by the College Board. It'd be great to have feedback on which of the two CLEP's is easier to pass. Thank you! |
