MIN. 80 HOURS) THE STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO WRITE A TECHNICAL REPORT BASED ON NOVEL TECHNICIAN RESEARCH INTO FIRE SCIENCE ORGANIZATIONAL OR MANAGEMENT PRACTICES AREAS. Objective: To enhance technical research skills and technical report writing ability in the area of executive development, strategic management of change, or executive leadership. Learning Outcome: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to write a technical report based on novel technical research into fire SCIENCE organizational or management practices areas. Instruction: Major topics covered in the course are technical research, report preparation, and creativity/innovation in an area of fire SCIENCE organization and management practices. Methods of instruction include independent study, research, and preparing a research paper. Credit Recommendation: In the upper division baccalaureate or graduate degree category, 4 semester hours in Fire SCIENCE, Fire Administration, or Public Administration (9/99) (8/02) (12/08).
