Great Find!

The Northwest Procurement Institute looks like a great alternative for those of us looking to advance a degree in business.

40 Hours over 5 days sound like they pack a lot of material such a short time frame. but hey, I can't really complain a 2 semester hours.

Some of them do seem to be Upper level as well.

Cost is a bit limiting though. at $860 a class, that matches the rate per semester hour of B&M schools.

In the end, however, I'll over look the cost because of time frame. My need for instant gratification, would, I believe, be sated with such a program.

I think maybe these links (well, at least the NPI one) should be stickied as a permanent alternative for credits to be placed next to our beloved FEMA, NFA, ALEKS, and Straighterline.

Cheers.

You might be missing that NPI is "ON-SITE" training for corporations, where they send a trainer to you company to do a weeklong lecture program for your employees.

A while ago, I checked into the Berlitz thing also, and the credit was only applied to onsite courses as I recall, and they weren't doing the ACE thing anymore, but a new credit agreement with some community college.

Edit: whoops I see the post above mine mentions the CC agreement, and the face-to-face in their training center requirement.

How would these two Statistics courses compare? My son needs to do one of these, and not being a math person, would prefer the easier one ;-) What would you suggest?

ALEKS has been simple and cheaper at $19 a month. Statistics.com is a pricier. ALeks credits transfer as soon as you hit 70% on the assessment when you go to ace and click on that course. Takes a few minutes then takes 3 days to validate.

Seminary Extension : Seminary Extension
