If you're looking towards college, why not take the GED? It should be nothing but a formality. I passed a practice version of the GED in 6th grade, barely, but I passed. So take the test, get the GED, and start your college career.

I recall seeing something on BAin4weeks about getting a MBA without a Bachelor's or even a High School diploma.

But that's really more of a fun fact, and I agree just get the GED.

I am with the other members of the group, get your GED first. I am sure you can do it with little effort and some studying. It is also a good prep for testing out of college classes.
That being said, California community colleges will allow you to enroll without proof of a HS diploma. I would imagine other states probably would do the same.
Check with your local community college in your state. If they tell you no, then check with another and then another until you find one.
Once you take a few classes (basketweaving, how to fly a kite etc.) at a community college, you can transfer in to 4 year universities as a transfer student. They generally don't ask for HS transcript if you have college coursework under your belt already.

If you wont take the GED which the other poster is correct about 6th grade. Then why would you take the other tests like Clep and DSSTs and so forth?
Take the GED while how ever worthless will help you in understanding the very basics you will need for other tests that are coming.
They give the damn GED away now and its a shame.

Or, you could find a college that offers high school diplomas/dual enrollment. This may be advantageous if it is a school you would also attend for later degrees, and it may allow for you to gain advanced standing when you do start your B.A.

Yes, you can get an MBA from a highly respected, Royally-charted school in Scotland. You do not even need a high school diploma, although this is only available as a distance learning option, not on-campus, AND you must pass 3 of the 7 exams before you will be admitted to the school. That said, the exams are purported to be extremely challenging, possibly even more so than Oxford. I will report back in December after I take my first exam.

There is always NARHS. They are locate in Maine. Many homeschoolers use them. As an adult the program can also be very benefical. They can take all of your previous high school credits. You can do portfolio for work experience and receive credit for that, and they are great supporters of clep and dsst tests. So you could take tests and use them for college and high school at the same time. They also will use fema for emergency management free electives. It is very painless process. They are super nice and their handbook has everything in it. Go on the website and get a copy. I think the requirement is 17 1/2 credits to graduate.
NARHS - Your diploma, your way.
I have helped at least 12 people through this program. People that thought all was lost because they did not finish high school. Ages ranging from 16 to 46. All of them made it through and are very successful. Many went on to college or trade school. I had one woman that I helped and she had gone through this terrible divorce and had several small children to care for. She did not have her high school diploma. So she had her transcript evaluated and found out what was missing. She started to work on portfolio credits because she had many credits she could get through that method. Took a few cleps, dsst ect ect. Anyway she had everything ready, she enrolled, sent off her portfolio and all of her other work, tests ect. She was in and out in a month. Why because she was organized and she got all of her credits done that she needed before enrolling. She now working is on her BA and wants her Master in ED. She could not have done it without that program. As I said many of the people that I have helped really never thought they would get their diploma but they are now done. Also many of these people took the GED and did not pass. But NARHS will take any section of the GED that you pass and use that section as work completed in that area.

I also forgot to mention that they will award a high school diploma to anyone that has complete 1 year of college. My friends daughter who went to a CC at 14 got her high school degree done that way. She received her AA a year later from the same CC and went on to transfer to a very competitive 4 year private school.
