Hey guys, I have my first CLEP coming up and it is for Am. Gov. I've been studying the "flash cards" on this site. Does anyone have advice on what to study, or any tips in general that will help for this test.

Thanks

The IC cards are better for this test than I had expected. That and a healthy dose of Wikipedia for subjects you are unfamiliar with should be enough to pass. I also used the Standard Deviants DVDs for this test. They made a great introduction.

I used the IC flashcards, specific exam feedback and Cliff's Notes. I also used an older short version of We The People textbook and companion website. It has been more than 20 yrs since I took a civics class so I needed lots of refreshing! It isn't a bad exam. Good Luck!

I'm going after this one too. I took the peterson's and scored 82/100 so I think I'll be ok. I definately reccomend taking a practice test and then doing a wiki wherever you feel unsure. (for me it's the articles of confederation and legislative branch of the federal government)

Best of luck !!!
