Gender Poll - Ruddigore - 06-15-2009

For my 300th post (I'm a Baronet of Ruddigore!), I thought I would do something a little different.

Though sometimes, our forum names are quite explicit about our genders (Farmerboy, Gary, Alissaroot, etc.), some names are not (yes...guilty as charged :o ).

Aside from putting aside false assumptions concerning someone who you are helping on the forum, I also thought it would be interesting to see what the spread is for non-traditional degree seekers. Are there more women than men? More men than women? About the same?

Anyway, thanks for humoring me. Big Grin

This was a smart Idea! I have sometimes wondered what gender someone is on here. BTW Ruddigore, I'm closing in on baronet fast I hope!

Gender Poll - blueberry - 06-15-2009

Cool thread! I was actually just thinking about this the other day...Like how sometimes I'm reading a post and someone says 'my husband' or something and I'm like, its a SHE??? (And it can also be shocking when someone writes about their kids, and meanwhile I had imagined them to be like 15 or something...)
Anyway, to get to the point, I'm a girl.

I somehow knew... Maybe because I read somewhere on here that your mom was helping her son.

Of, course, it wasn't your fault.
It seems I didn't read enough posts to determine correctly! After I posted on this thread I was reading somewhere on the Testing discussion when I saw something that made it obvious and i thought, "duh!!!" Smile
