Who's attending/attended TESC graduation? - Griffin - 05-31-2009

I know that I will definitely be attending the graduation ceremony at TESC, but it seems like a lot of people won't or didn't attend theirs. So I thought a poll would be fun!

Did/will you attend your bachelor's graduation ceremony? Why or why not?

I'll start. Smile I wound up dropping out of high school and getting a GED. I completed a vocational program with good scores, but I was pushed out of the second part of the program and not allowed to attend the graduation (long story). I then completed a pre-pharm/Pharmacy Tech program, but had to move before the graduation (bummer!).

So I've really been working hard to finish my degree and finally (!) get to graduate. Big Grin

I didn't and it was mainly due to me not feeling a connection to the school. Yeah, it's where I completed my bachelor's degree but I took one class there and my total interaction with the school lasted less than a year. In turn, I attended TCC's graduation ceremony for my first associate's degree after taking 15+ classes with them over 2+ years, and will be attending my graduation ceremony at UIS for my master's degree.

I most likely will not be in attendance as the timing of the ceremony in October makes it only a few months away from my grad. school graduation in May. I would rather round up the family for a graduation renowned for its pomp/circumstance and tradition.
