Speedyprep vs. IC for Natural Sciences & Humanities CLEP? - retake - 04-26-2009 So far I've taken two CLEPs, English Comp w/Essay & Social Science/History, and passed. However, I've found that books at the local library are most useful in learning the material than the IC flashcards. The next two tests I plan on taking are Natural Science & Humanities, so I was considering subscribing to Speedyprep instead of IC. Based on the exam feedback section, these two tests seem much harder than the first two that I've taken. Has anyone here ever utilized Speedyprep to prepare for these exams? Was it helpful? Speedyprep vs. IC for Natural Sciences & Humanities CLEP? - Levi - 04-27-2009 Hi retake, I've never used Speedyprep, but I have taken both the Humanities and Natural Sciences CLEPs. I used IC for Humanities, and it was very helpful. I would encourage you to use IC at least for that exam. When I took the Nat. Sci. test, I didn't know about IC at the time, so I just used some other books. Speedyprep vs. IC for Natural Sciences & Humanities CLEP? - jmanion - 01-19-2010 I used SpeedyPrep for Natural Sciences. I ended up studying for 1.5 weeks, and got a 58. I had previously used IC for approx 20 exams, but after finding SpeedyPrep, I only wish I had found them sooner. SpeedyPrep has a much better interface than IC, and it allowed me to learn quicker. The biggest thing I see as an advantage for IC is the selection of exams. Other than that, SpeedyPrep has them beat. |
