Pre-cal or QBA? - JDSmith - 04-15-2009 Hey I'm looking at the requirements for my BSBA and they require Pre-cal or Quantitative Business analysis. The question I have is which do you think would be the best to take? I am not a 'Math person' so Pre-cal kind of sounds scary to me. What do you recommend? I hope to pass the test tomorrow. I graduated from high school in 2007 having taken two years of algebra. Algebra was probably my favorite class in school - I did really well with it. Since Precalc builds on algebra, some parts of it come easily to me. However, I did not take Geometry or Trig in high school, so I had to learn a lot of new concepts studying for the CLEP exam. If you are not a math person, then I would probably recommend that you look into ALEKS for your Pre-calc credits rather than the CLEP. If you have not seen the thread below, you may want to scan over it. I don't know anything about Quantitative Business Analysis - so I can't help you there - sorry. I'll def use the ALEKS course. I have taken some Trig and Geometry so this might not be quite as bad as I thought. |
