Hello Fellow Cleppers

Short of moving to a new state, does any one know of any resources that a student can use to apply for instate tuition? I am in MI and taking a course at IU. Do you think I am missing any avenues? Some colleges have partnership with other states for reduced tuition. Is there any info I am missing?

I know this is a long shot but since I am about to pay the hefty fees at IU:eek: I thought it would not hurt to ask:o

Thanks

Check out the Midwest Higher Education Compact site. Click on Student Access, then MSEP for info on reciprocal arrangements. The general agreement in the compact is that participating universities charge out-of-state students 150% of in-state tuition. This is a bargain - it's usually closer to 300%!

I took a quick look, and IU might not be participating. Perhaps you can find the course you want at a school that does participate?
