First off, I strongly suggest postponing this test until you have already taken Am.Lit, Eng. Lit, and Analysis and Interpretting Lit.
A large portion is lit. and should be a breeze if you've already taken all the Lit. tests. This will boost your score if you miserably fail the other sections.
Secondly, the REA guide is helpful. They pack in may too much info. and the pract. tests are confusing and more difficult than the actual test.
For example, I took the REA pract. test and scored a 54. I was just a little freaked out, but I took the pract. test in the official CLEP guide that right after and got an 83%. The offical CLEP guide is more like the actual test.
