CLEP World Civ 1 & 11 - mmk01 - 02-24-2009 What's the best book to study for these exams? Thanks. CLEP World Civ 1 & 11 - studyingathome - 02-24-2009 I've only taken Western Civ. I. Personally I liked the REA study guide best, even more than Western Civ textbooks. I used some various library books, textbooks and such but found REA most helpful. Memorizing the right answers and why the other answers are wrong I believe is very important! Many have suggested the Speilvogel (sp?), but to me it didn't seem that helpful. Allison CLEP World Civ 1 & 11 - studyhard - 02-24-2009 REA is a great overview for both--be sure and take all the practice tests, read the answers, then take them again. You can also do quite a bit of studying here and take advantage of the free quizzes with each section: History Study Guides - SparkNotes Plus, you'll want to definitely, definitely use IC. 3-4 through each section, minimum. I also used a highschool history book to brush up in more detail. |
