Need one more credit... - yotbin - 02-12-2009 Anyone have any ideas on how to easily get one credit? I plan on taking some Dantes and CLEPS, but I will need one credit in the end. I was wondering if there was an easier way than taking another test. Need one more credit... - Joel - 02-12-2009 A lot depends on which school you are going to, but check out the threads on FEMA credits. Need one more credit... - dc67 - 02-12-2009 If you go to Excelsior, Info Lit is 1 credit. I just checked the site and Excelsior Info Lit looks easy enough. I'm just starting on this testing out for credit idea and I just found out excelsior exams are accepted by tesc, so that opens some new testing options for me. Good luck. Need one more credit... - yotbin - 02-17-2009 I wish..my school stopped accepting FEMA credits last year. Of course, I did not have the chance to take one before they stopped it. Need one more credit... - YokotaJo - 02-17-2009 I was scouring the ACE site looking for any course at all that might throw some credits my way. I was so surprised to see that PADI courses for Diving are considered 1 credit electives! Even the basic dive course is 1 credit. PADI keeps the records on line so it is easy to process through ACE. It might not work for everyone but for the rest of us dive masters etc it could be an option. Check ACE to see if there are any other unusual courses. Also, you could hit any teacher continuing education site and they all offer college credit courses for about $90 a credit. Report in and let us all know what you find. |
