American Government Friday - MagicATC - 07-27-2006 I also will be taking a CLEP on Friday. I have used IC and looked at the Constitution. As long as the other 2 Dantes went good, this will leave me 21 Upper Level credits to go. I will never sit in a college classroom again for my degree. I wish I new about this sooner. By the way, what is the fastest anyone received 21 Upper Level with no prior knowledge? Good luck on your exam! Just be keen on ALL IC flashacards with particular focus on the USC and the Bill of Rights. I cannot answer your question, but perhaps you can take a look at either http://www.bain4weeks.com -or- http://www.123collegedegree.com for some related testimonials and such. American Government Friday - Kiwi Lover - 07-27-2006 MagicATC Wrote:I also will be taking a CLEP on Friday. I guess I should have spent more time. No worries though, I am studying Human Growth Development now as my back up. I have 21 UL and 5 LL to go. Must finish by December. Sorry to see that it didn't go your way - this time. Just curious, how were you doing on any mock/practice exams before sitting the real thing? American Government Friday - Kiwi Lover - 07-29-2006 MagicATC Wrote:Sorry to say I only got a 48. But it sounds like you have a good attitude, and that's half the battle, right? Good luck with the next one - we're all rooting for you! JoAnne American Government Friday - MagicATC - 07-29-2006 I guess that would have helped. I have all the college board stuff and that helped, but as far as Petersons I keep hearing about I have yet to try them. I am military and wonder if I get a break with them. I guess it is worth the money anyway for it, right? Anyway, back to Human Growth... American Government Friday - ShotoJuku - 07-29-2006 MagicATC Wrote:I guess that would have helped. First, check with your Academic office on post/base and they should be able to access the free codes that allow you access to Petersons for FREE. There are some established threads on that topic now. Second, ALWAYS use the Peterson mock exams to measure your skills beforehand. Generally speaking they are somewhat more difficult that the real thing so if you can pass them you should do well when you sit the real exam. American Government Friday - ShotoJuku - 07-29-2006 Try this link (save it to your favourite places so you can revisit it in future): http://www.petersons.com/cpc/testpre...=3893&tab=clep - Click on one of the exams listed. - Fill in your registration info and choose a username and password. - You shouldn't have to enter a code at all. |
