I have been out of school for way to long and am scared to death to take a stab at algebra again. Anyone out there have an idea on how I should go about obtaining my math credits via clep or dantes?

ALEKS seems to work best for some.

I second that suggestion. For $20 you can attempt 3 credits with ALEKS through ACE, or just use it as preparation to take the CLEP.
