what is the longest time that it took you to prepare for a clep/dsst/ec exam?
currently studying for college math and it's killing me. Been on it hard for a month so far! Could easily see it going 2 more weeks. This subject is just not clicking for me.

A lot of the stuff didn't click for me for College Math either, I just got tired of studying for it and weighed the cost of time to continue to study with benefit of the credits. I took it on a whim and passed with room to spare.

It was CLEP College Math that was my hardest test. I didn't feel like I was learning any more the longer I studied and just went for it. I passed by a few points but a pass is a pass.

CLEP Principles of Accounting. Took me 3 weeks studying everyday. Felt a lot longer than that.

3 weeks of study per exam is my average . Just depends. As for college math, already, I have set aside 6 weeks for studying in preparation for that exam during the January-Feb time frame. Apparently, this test has caused many caffinated evenings of study. Hang in there. You will get it.

Humanities was absolutely my longest exam to study for. I even made charts and tables, and all kinds of nonsense. I studied for 4 weeks but it felt like 4 months! And, that was a subject that I loved!
Imagine how screwed I am when I start prepping for the hard stuff. So far, I've really taken the easy route and left all of the "biggies" for last. I know, I know, not a particularly smart strategy. But, hey if I was all that smart to begin with would it be taking me over 20 years to finish this degree? Ha! I rest my case your honor!

I've spent long enough on Macro that I'm giving about this much || thought to taking Microeconomics via distance learning. But I probably wont. Having figured out how to learn economics on my own I'm hoping it's downhill from here.

3 weeks for both Biology and Statistics.

I think the longest was three weeks, mostly on the tough history exams. But I think I had more study time each week available to me than some folks on here have.
College Math was only a week or so but that's 'cause I have a very strong math background and only had to brush up. Hang in there...you'll get it eventually! Don't stress out if a particular subject takes you awhile. Just go at the pace that works for you.
