What was US History 1 like? - ACBookworm - 11-18-2008 Hello, I am new with Instacert, and I am getting ready to take the US History 1 CLEP test. I was wondering how closely related the questions on the actual test were in relation to the questions on Instacert. I hear that most of the questions are about social issues, but I wondered if I could get by just using Istacert and the REA History 1 book. Thank you! If you go over IC 3-4 times and do all the practice REA tests (and then take them again and see if you remember the right answers), that should probably land you a pass. But you might do some supplemental studying as well--check out this link: History Study Guides - SparkNotes and scroll down to the parts about US History. Read through all of that and take their practice quizzes too. I think that book saved my hide on that test. Also, you won't ever see an exact same question here or anywhere, practice test questions are only samples of the type of question to expect.
