Hi all,

I am planning on taking Dsst Organizational Behavior Soon. Any tips or thoughts????

Thanks!

Dantes Organizational Behavior - Criticalthinker - 07-06-2006

I'm planning on taking it in the next few weeks as soon as it comes into the testing site, I'll schedule it.

No real tips, but I did find when I started studying it, I was fascintated by the language because I began to recognize all sorts of key phrases and vocabulary that I hear at work all the time. It took on a personal meaning and that is helping me to remember the concepts, lingo and theorists a bit.

I plan to take two practice tests, use the DSST fact sheet and IC.

Other ideas welcome.

Good luck

Good Morning All,

I will be taking DANTES Organizational Behavior at 10am. I will post some feedback for you when I get back.

I'm hoping that this exam won't be too much of a bear. I recognized a lot of the names and terminology from various other subjects I have already studied (Human Resources, Management, Sociology, Ethics, etc.).

To prepare, I have used Instantcert and the Official DSST Study Guide book. Hopefully, those two resources will be enough!

I'll let you know,

Hi All,

Okay.....I'm back!

I think I did very well on this exam. Thus, I feel confident in suggesting that Instantcert and the DSST Study Guide Book ARE enough to pass this exam.

There will be a few questions that you will probably struggle with, but the vast majority of the questions are covered by Instantcert/DSST. Common sense, elimination, and educated guessing will help for the few questions that weren't covered.

Know everything in Instantcert, everything in the DSST chapter, and do the various sample tests in the book (they WILL help).

If you know the material in Instantcert and the DSST guide, I would be VERY surprised if you failed this exam. Like I said, there were some tricky questions, but not enough to be much of a problem overall.

The exam breakdown in the DSST Factsheet was very accurate for this exam.

I would probably place this exam on the same difficulty level as Principles of Marketing. Perhaps two steps more difficult than Intro to Sociology.

If Intro to Sociology is a 2 out of 10 on the difficulty scale, and Principles of Management is a 3, then Organizational Behavior is a 4.

Drug & Alcohol Abuse would be a 6, and Soviet Union or Civil War would be a 7.

I hope this helps,
Snazzlefrag

I took this exam this morning and totally concur with what Snazz has posted. There were several questions I had to guess on, but overall I felt that thoroughly studying everything in InstantCert and the DSST chapter helped me a great deal. The mock exams in the DSST book were also a big help.

I'm sure I passed, and that's the main thing! :p

I also got my results today for Organ. Behavior - I passed with a 69. I also passed Ethics in America with a 63. Hee-haw! :p

I got the results a little faster than I expected. I took the tests on July 31st, they charged my credit card on August 4th, and I got the result on August 12th...so 12 days all told.
