penn foster accounting courses - raf9797 - 11-09-2008 I am currently taking the intermediate accounting courses at PFC. These courses are i believe well structured. There was an intermediate textbook included in the course price. I chose this route because it's quicker to complete with PFC than with LSU. For example, the intermediate accounting 1 has only 4 lessons and exams and a proctor exams as compared with more than 16 lessons assignment and three proctor exams. Also, the PFC courses are ACE reviewed. Currently, i believe PFC offers only 5 accounting courses. I intend to pursue the accounting certificate at LSU and transfer some credits in[which I think shouldn't be more than 3 credits] I want to know if anyone on the forum has had any experience with PFC accounting courses. penn foster accounting courses - alissaroot - 11-09-2008 I am fumbling through an accounting course from them right now. I just bombed my first exam, with a 56%. How embarrassing. Thankfully, I get a chance to retake it. I sailed through the Business Math class, with a 98%. I love my Business Math book. I have decided to keep it forever, but the Financial Accounting book doesn't seem to go right along with the exam the way the Business Math one did. I picked up Bookkeeping for Dummies from the library, maybe that will help. The only bad thing about the material being condensed into just four exams is that it covers quite a lot of ground for one exam. If it's something a person struggles with, it's easy to get behind pretty quickly. Sounds like you are doing much better than me! |
