Would love some help - acesup_11 - 09-22-2026 I hope you are all doing well. I tried to do some research but I am at a loss. I wanted to get my associates ( I need it as soon as possible) and then eventually my bachelore's. I have some credits from community college (attached) and it seems that sophia is the fastest way to finish everything. (correct me if I am wrong) I am not sure which is the fastest and hopefully easiest courses I would need to take. If this is the wrong place I apologize but I really want to help my family. Thank you all and let me know if you have any questions. Looking for guidance for UMPI - acesup_11 - 09-23-2026 Addendum & Template (answer in brief, compact, concise phrases - don't need long sentences): Your Location: Orange County, CA Your Age:43 What kind of degree do you want?: Associates and eventually BA - hurry on the Associates though Current Regional Accredited Credits: STCC attached image Current ACE, CLEP, or NCCRS Credits: I took my first Sophia course last night and completed it: Introduction to College Mathematics Any certifications or military experience?: FINRA Series 6,63,65,7,99 also California life and health Budget: not an issue Commitments: Running a few businesses and family Dedicated time to study: 4 hours a day Timeline: as soon as possible. Tuition assistance/reimbursement: none RE: Looking for guidance for UMPI - bjcheung77 - 09-23-2026 @acesup_11, I've merged your duplicate thread and have edited the second post. Please fill in the addendum and template the best you can. Here's the sticky thread you may have missed, it shows an example: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-New-to-DegreeForum-How-this-Area-works Life has been busy for everyone, including the both of us. It's been a bit over 6.5 years since I replied to your previous post. I was wondering... Have you done anything since then? Post #8 from this thread: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-Fastest-Masters-Money-is-no-object My recommendation for your next steps: A, complete the template in post #2, by editing the post and putting as much info as possible. B, Apply to TESU and UMPI with your current set of credits. C, Reply back with an evaluation from both institutions, make sure to attach all info without your personal details. PS: As a side note, CBE may or may not be for you, it really depends on what your addendum and template indicates. But from your previous posts, you've got a busy schedule, and trying to speed run a degree may backfire. That's the reason for applying to both TESU and UMPI. For reference purposes, I merged a few of your previous threads. I wanted to get the basic details from your previous posts and decided it would be good for review. An intro thread and one for TESC (now TESU). Intro: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-acesup-11-Introduction TESC: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-acesup-11-TESC-Journey RE: Looking for guidance for UMPI - acesup_11 - 09-23-2026 WOW thank you so much and I am so sorry about that. I hope this helps and I really appreciate you combining my posts RE: Looking for guidance for UMPI - bjcheung77 - 09-24-2026 @OP, your homework for today or whenever you get the chance after reading this post (yes, I give homework to members all the time). Review the following WIKI pages and the plans, create a spreadsheet by following the plans exactly. You have 18 credits plus the CLEP, that's 21 total of the required total (7 of 40). TESU: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Thomas_Edison_State_University At the bottom beside categories, click the TESU hyperlink, it'll show you all the degree plans available. You should create a spreadsheet for two, the BSBA General Management and the BSBA Finance. UMPI: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/University_of_Maine_at_Presque_Isle Again, at the bottom beside categories, click UMPI hyperlink for a list of prepared degree plans You should create a spreadsheet for the BAS (an option if you do the AAS at TESU) and/or BABA Here's the Beginner's Guide I created a decade ago, it'll have a few spreadsheets you can download and use as examples. It actually still works because, those 40 classes remain the same for TESU. And if you want to review the revised version, the last post has the link to the one I updated two years ago. https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-Beginners-Guide-To-Getting-Cheap-Fast-College-Credit--24842 Once you have the homework completed, save them as PDF's and link it for recommendations and review. You should continue to use Sophia.org for your general education and electives, there are a couple or more classes that come in as upper level. You can also use Study.com using my link, as their $95/month College Starter also has a few upper level classes as well.
