TESU Bachelor Data Analytics after Statistics.com is gone - homeschoolmom1 - 09-14-2026

Statistics.com is no longer a viable platform. However, TESU still has that Bachelor of Data Analytics in their catalog. They have changed to website, and now it states that the courses in the AOS can be obtained through their "Educational Partners". But they don't say what those are.

Is anybody currently enrolled in this program and has any insight? Will PLA be the only option, or is TESU possibly in discussions with potential course providers to make these courses available again?

SUNY Empire is in the process or developing a Data Science bachelors

https://catalog.sunyempire.edu/courses/csci/

CSCI 2115 Introduction to Data Engineering (4 Credits)
This course is designed for students interested in working with and analyzing data with the goal of building scalable data pipelines to serve a variety of data consumers. The course focuses on using Python and SQL acquiring, cleaning, preprocessing, and storing data for use in downstream applications. Through hands-on data engineering exercises and a gentle introduction to the relevant tools, students will gain skills in deploying data pipelines to populate business analytics dashboards and fuel AI applications. This is a foundational required course in the B.S. in Data Science program. Prerequisite: CSCI 2020 – Introduction to Programming with Python, or equivalent course in Python programming

the degree is not in their catalog yet, but I emailed one of the teachers and they said the degree is in the process of being developed

Oh, wow. What happened to Statistics.com?

RE: TESU Bachelor Data Analytics after Statistics.com is gone - homeschoolmom1 - 10-22-2026

Learnstatistics.com looks just like Statistics.com, but with some improvements:

1) The courses are slightly cheaper ($650 vs $750).
2) They allow you to purchase the course (pre-pay, if you will) and pick the dates for your course at a later timepoint.

The TESU degree in Data Analytics is possible again, woot woot!

and I'm not sure, but it seems like courses are offered every month instead of 2 or 3 times a year

I wonder if its possible to take these on your own time outside of TESU's program and transfer them all in once done.

I don't see why that would not be possible.

Seems like a good degree option, for those who can't, don't want to go WGU or for whatever other reason... This particular degree doesn't have a capstone. If you've got a first degree at TESU, and have the residency requirements by doing the flat rate or 15 credits through them, this degree should only cost the graduation fee plus the fees required for the final classes in the major.

When I last checked it out, I think it said to complete the entirety of the courses offered via statistics.com cost around $6k roughly. Although it's still cheap, I wonder if there is any way to max out transfer credits with this. Does the 114 transfer credit policy apply to this program? Would any of the sources listed in the alt credit wiki hack away at the program requirements, particularly those within the major/AOS?
