Switching from BACS to BSNET - JanieM - 08-30-2026 I'm thinking of switching my major from Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science to Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering Technology. I'm currently still on my general ed courses, so I should be able to switch easily. What should I know about this degree, and what courses should I take for it? Just simply have your transcripts evaluated and bring back a copy of your degree plan here. We don't know what courses you did. We don't know what courses you did. Is this from TESU? I've never had a degree plan from there given too me since I've only been doing the doctorate, so I wouldn't know what their's looks like, but I'd hope their's was a bit cleaner (no offense if you made this - if it works for you then it works for you). All I can say based on this is that there are a lot more courses for you to complete and just follow what's there I suppose. I honestly don't know what you have completed at this point. From what this says, you have only completed 8 courses. So you only have 24/120 credits completed? I would follow the degree forum wiki for TESU to confirm direct course transfers from Sophia to TESU. I would follow SDC's partner page for TESU to confirm direct course transfers. Take advantage of TECEPs at TESU for the 15 credit residency requirement, to bypass the residency fee, to knock out some gen eds, and look at some of the suggestions here on the forum for easier TECEPs to complete to help you reach that requirement. If it were me, I would do the BA CS one first as that, partnered with the BS NET would be a great combo. They only apply toward the residency requirement for students under a military tuition plan, and those residency requirements are different (24 credits for a bachelor’s). TESU Credit-Hour Residency FAQs TECEPs do count as RA credit toward the institutionally accredited source credit requirement. |
