Elmwood MLM - darthweezy - 03-27-2026
I know a lot of you have not had good success getting into the program, but I want to thank those of you that mentioned it when it opened the first time. Last week I completed everything and yesterday received the conferral letter and official transcript showing completion. I am in Texas which may be why I was able to get into the first group.
This has opened new doors for me at work allowed me to enter new programs along with receiving an extra stipend.

Elmwood is accredited by the DEAC. This form of accreditation is frequently unacceptable to employers and regionally accredited institutions of higher learning. While two research projects offered insights regarding the extent of this gap (one with HR professionals and the other with admissions officials), both are now approximately 25 years old. Anecdotes and other insights make it clear this gap remains, but we do not know to what extent. Also, individual circumstances may also inform this dynamic.
It is vital that anyone making a choice regarding the pursuit of a degree try to ensure--to the maximum extent possible--that the degree will meet one's current and future needs. A degree serves as a proxy, speaking on one's behalf when that person is not present. Factors such as type of institutional and/or programmatic accreditation may impact the degree's ability to perform this function.
