I am looking at a Management and Leadership degree from UMPI. However, I was looking at seeing if I could combine it with an HR degree. I currently work in middle management for a vendor company at a hospital (literally have NO idea how I landed it) but I absolutely hate my job. I want another job in middle or upper management - potentially going for my PMP eventually. I LOVE onboarding and HR and management - just not this job. When looking at the pre-reqs it looks like I still need: Engl Comp ii US Govt A&P1 Lab Sociology US History ii Spanish i I do also have study.com as well. Thank you so much! RE: Management/Leadership - bjcheung77 - 03-21-2026 Basically, continue getting credit through Sophia.org OR Study.com, not both at the same time. It's a waste of a subscription if you don't put all your efforts into one subscription at a time. Anyways, you can transfer a max of 90 credits from alternative credits to go towards the general education and electives. 30 credits are for residency purposes, I suggest the BBA M&L concentration for you... RE: Management/Leadership - ed209uardo - 03-29-2026 Another cost effective option is CLEP testing with vouchers from modernstates.org, using the equivalencies for UMPI: https://mycampus.maine.edu/c/document_library/get_file?uuid=5b90d446-d584-4906-86df-7d04f6799581&groupId=223854 |
