For Mardi Gras and Lunar New Year to share Tuesday, and Ash Wednesday and the start of Ramadan to share Wednesday does seem awfully synergistic!

Happy and/or blessed whatever to whomever!

It's a shame, I was in New Orleans for 1 day while I was on some training orders around the time of Mardi Gras (years ago). Installation commander told us no-no

Then again, my experience walking down Bourbon St. was nothing but shocking. Then again, I did make sure to check out the WW2 museum, try out some new foods, and drive around and check out some cemeteries within the span of a few hours. I wish I could've stayed longer, but it was a bit of a drive from Biloxi.
