TECEP: Anatomy & Physiology - scfraser1 - 09-04-2008 I'm preparing to take this TECEP and I'm a little worried about it. There is just so much material that I'm stressing so much over it. I have until the 11th to take it. Has anyone here taken this exam? If so, how difficult was it and what would you recommend I use to study for it? Thanks in advance. TECEP: Anatomy & Physiology - ali4nia - 09-07-2008 if I was you, I would have gone with ECE A&P first, its computer based so you get the score right away and its way cheaper than TECEP, if its too late to change then you might give it a shot if you fail the TECEP, otherwise A&P is a broad range exam so you have to study pretty much every thing you can find about it, standard deviants has some cool dvds also free webcast like UC Berkeley here's a link good luck ! There is a seris on amazon called "made ridiculously simple" that seem to get good reviews AND if you read these and other reviews they will point out the books they used to study. Another thing about the ECE tests that might be better is they have practice exams you can buy and take at least for some tests, you would need to check on this one. TECEP: Anatomy & Physiology - Lindagerr - 09-07-2008 SCfrasier I sent you a PM with some study info. ali4nia As an enrolled student at TESC a TECEP only cost me about $225 I could not find the cost for ECE what does an exam cost? I thought they were even more expensive. TECEP: Anatomy & Physiology - scfraser1 - 09-08-2008 yep, it's costing me $480 and I already paid. I need to pass this, Org Behavior and Experimental Psych by the end of the month to meet the Oct. 1st deadline to apply for graduation. TECEP: Anatomy & Physiology - sheeenz - 09-17-2008 TECEP is cheaper scfraser1..I'm taking the A&P ECE and its costing me about $295.. I'm taking the test this friday... mind sending me the notes Lindagerr sent ya ? thanks! TECEP: Anatomy & Physiology - Lindagerr - 09-17-2008 Ali4nia doesn't ECE charge by thr credit for exams too? I did't realize the A & P was 6 credits. I am interested because I am due to renew my tuition to TESC and I need to decide if I should go with the comprehensive and take TECEP exams or it would be cheaper to go for the enrolled options plan and take ECE exams. I can not get the pricing for ECE exams to come up on my computer. TECEP: Anatomy & Physiology - ali4nia - 09-18-2008 TECEP is not cheaper and is harder to pass ! usually you gotta have 60% right to get it done vs ECE with 45-50% correct answer you usually pass with a C, I called tesc and they said they grade it manually so add the human error to this.. they graded one of my TECEP (among many other mistake they did) by 10 point below my real score 59 instead of 69 and I had to bust my a.. to make them correct their mistake You pay way more than any other test, you wait way more than any other test to get your result(by regular mail they dont give grade on the phone after almost 1 month of waiting and their 5000 yrs old website goes blank where is supposed to show the TECEP score) and at the end you endup with a D while you have almost 70% of all your answers right, I know some of you might not agree but I think some how TECEP is a ripoff compared to other tests, there is no enrolled or non-enrolled price for ECE, ECE A&P is 145 bucks cheaper if you paid the tecep at the enrolled price, or 625 bucks cheaper at the regular price !!!! thats huge difference at least for me,ECE is computer based and you get the score right away, drama free like dsst/clep, GO WITH ECE anytime when you can, TECEP should be really really the last option !! ah I almost forgot: add usually a 30 bucks proctor fee for TECEP to make it even more wonderful !! TECEP: Anatomy & Physiology - Marvelicious - 11-09-2008 I am taking this exam in about 10 days. It is 335 dollars, so I guess it has gone up like everything else. I bought the practice exams and the text I received came with a DVD and a website practice. I just want to pass the darn thing. Anyone have any scores to report and feelings about the test? Thanks for any imput. |
