Can you take both freshman comp and english comp? - CouchPotato - 08-29-2008 At Excelsior only 6 credits in English can be applied to a Business Degree (if this is what you're going for). You must have a Written English Requirement, and the CLEP English Comp doesn't count. Excelsior is introducing a new English Exam worth 6 credits to replace the 3 credit College Writing, so you may have to take just that one test, and have no room for Freshman Comp.
