Commonwealth University College of Medicine - $18.5K (4 years total) - bjcheung77 - 06-23-2025 Commonwealth University College of Medicine - $18.5K if you get 50% off tuition (yes, the entire 4 years, not just 1 year) One time payment, you can get this for $37K flat for all 4 years as per their link: Commonwealth University College of Medicine | Saint Lucia Country in the Caribbean So, I was reviewing my previous list of Caribbean universities that have a medical school and came across a few newer ones that weren't on my list or ones I purposely didn't place on my list, but this one got me interested again in Caribbean Med Schools again. It's geared for Indian nationals, but will accept others as well... Here's a thread with 4 links to my other threads in regards to Med Schools: ACSOM - Caribbean Medical School (New!) Here's the spreadsheet that is referenced in some of the threads: Caribbean Med Schools - Google Sheets RE: Commonwealth University College of Medicine - $18.5K (4 years total) - FireMedic_Philosopher - 06-23-2025 BJ, In any of your research have you come across cheap PA (physician assistant) programs ? RE: Commonwealth University College of Medicine - $18.5K (4 years total) - bjcheung77 - 06-23-2025 For PA programs, I haven't, but did write about a couple I believe... One was a community college that offered the PA degree... Anyways, the recommendation is to do a search and compile your list from a few sites. For example, if Google gives you 5 sites with Top 10, 20, 30 PA programs and has it listed by price, you can create a spreadsheet of your own, to cross reference them and verify the pricing and sort it in a fashion you'd like to review... That's how I came up with my Caribbean list, I cleaned up the ones I didn't need or want to review... Here it is, the only community college in the US that has the Masters in PA. Here's the post/thread: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-Self-Paced-Online-Community-College-Courses?pid=354766#pid354766 Hopefully, it's the cheapest option you're looking for. Longstanding institutions like St. George's and Ross and a few others are good at this. I would ask a lot of questions if I were considering a new school. RE: Commonwealth University College of Medicine - $18.5K (4 years total) - bjcheung77 - 07-09-2025 And here's a competing medical school in Central/South America, it was even listed on the fees/scholarship page... Anyways, the pricing is very similar, but you're in a different country, plus the accreditation, recognition, quality, are always going to be subjective to criticism. Lincoln American University at $45K: Lincoln American University: Tuition Fee & Scholarship RE: Commonwealth University College of Medicine - $18.5K (4 years total) - Duneranger - 07-09-2025 Caribbean med schools are almost always a terrible decision. Limited match potential, most are extremely expensive with massive attrition for a reason. I have worked with several Caribbean grad, uates and none of them recommend that pathway. LAU is in Guyana, which is nowhere near Central America. And while it's in South America geographically, it's an English-speaking country that's a member of Caricom and is culturally is in line with the rest of the English-speaking West Indies, not its Spanish-speaking neighbors. (Not that there's anything wrong with Spanish-speaking countries, of course.)
