POS 493 Political Science Capstone questions - Patchouli_Skoal - 02-22-2025

Hi All. I only have a couple of classes to complete in Spring 2 to finish my BA in History/Political Science and I'm wondering about the POS 493 Political Science Capstone. I read an older comment on the class review thread that it's just a single 1500-2000 word paper, which seems like a normal final.  Is that still true? Do I get to pick the topic and find my own sources?  Also, does anyone know which professor grades it, or is there more than one?

Not sure why I'm stressing this since I've done well in all the other classes so far.  Maybe just the unknown. Thanks for any insight you all can offer.

Oh, and if anybody has any recent insight into POS370 Native American History I'd appreciate that too. It's one of the classes I have remaining and I'm a little worried about it also.

I haven't seen anyone on Discord talk about the capstone course. I don't know if it's an option in YourPace. You should join the Discord.

It's POS 493 and it's a one credit course that is mandatory for the BA.  Thanks though...I forgot about the Discord!  Someone posted about it this past fall and said it is just one paper and they had Dr. Z so I'm hoping it's just like a normal final.
