Worried about Failing - Lordworm30 - 01-21-2025

Hey There! I’ve been out of college for about 6 years or so. Im going back to UMPI in March for the summer semester. I’ve transferred over 90 credits from my previous university and am doing the BLS with a minor in History. I’m really self doubting myself that I’m gonna be too stupid for these classes and that I’m going to fail. Can anyone provide tips or encouragement to help ease my mind just worried the classes are going to be to hard and I won’t be able to comprehend anything. Thanks

UMPI is paper writing, and the professors are mostly easy to work with. They understand you're a student and not a professor yourself so they can be quite lenient. Just pace yourself, each session is about 7 weeks, and you can only take 2 classes at once, so figure out a schedule that works for you. The profs can sometimes take days to answer a question or grade something and it is out of your hands so don't stress over it. Also the finals have an option to turn in drafts, use it, the profs will give you notes so you can improve your final before submission. Before UMPI I think I wrote like 4 papers my entire life and after graduating I'm like a professional paper writer now, so you'll learn an extra skill along the way.
