From WGU Accounting to TESU or Excelsior? - omegaorange - 01-11-2025

I’m transferring accounting credits from WGU to either TESU or Excelsior. I have 118 accounting credits from WGU - so ideally I’d like to choose the school that lets me transfer in the up to the maximum.
Does anyone have any experience with the accounting degrees at Excelsior and TESU? I see TESU has the BSBA and BS in accounting and Excelsior has a BSBA. Between these three degrees which one is the most transfer friendly? Thanks!

Basically, they're virtually identical as Excelsior will allow 113 credits transferred, TESU will allow 114 credits transferred, and you may want to investigate other alternative options as well. It's not just the number of credits transferable, you should look at overall cost, ease, speed to finish.

Each person would have a different view on getting things done, you should fill us in with more details from the addendum and template here: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-New-to-DegreeForum-How-this-Area-works

Here's a very recent post of mine explaining briefly, Excelsior, TESU, UMPI transfers: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-Teceps-and-TESU%E2%80%99s-RA-req-Their-residency-req?pid=433696#pid433696

In short, review what I mentioned above in the link, here are two threads for you to further review, it boils down to UMPI BA Accounting or BABA Accounting as my recommendations. It really depends on what your requirements are and what you want to complete on route to your educational goal...
