Lots of credtis BACS? - Doner - 12-06-2024

Location: Greece
Age: 26
Time to study: a lot
Budget: Not a lot, preferably paying by installments not much more than $500 per month
Duration: Fast
When to start: Fall 2025 if transfer 117
I was looking at TESU, I have about 35 courses from my electric engineering degree that I did not finish which had surprisingly a lot of CS courses (intergraded masters) the GPA for all is C+ and it was a 5 year program (2019)
So I am guessing that would qualify as RAs? (after course-by-course evaluation)
My plan is to get the BABA PM & MIS from UMPI by May and then start a CS degree, I did everything required for UMPI and I want to get ready for TESU, however I am not sure if I can transfer up to 117 credits? Is that a thing anymore?

If you get the BABA from UMPI first (minimum 10 courses/30 credits required at TESU), then TESU would waive the general education and free electives on the 2nd degree. However, it would require in total 24 new credits after the 1st bachelors from UMPI, as this is TESU policy. You would also need to either pay the residence waiver fee or do a minimum of 15 credits at TESU to avoid that fee:

Why not just apply now to TESU, do a double major and complete a 15 credit term for the flat-rate tuition? You can add a BBA at TESU along with the BACS and there are plans on the Wiki for that: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Category:TESU
Alternatively, you could also do the UMPI degree and then go for a Master's in CS like the one from Georgia Tech for example.

Interesting that they require 24 new credits, I was wondering if I just send them my foreign credits (not a completed degree) wouldn't that suffice the RA credits + allow me to proceed with the 117 credits plan?
Doing BA with BACS sounds interesting however I want to do the MAOL after the BA in PM & MIS

This is how to slice your credits... Complete the 117 credits for transfer into TESU BACS (skip the BSBA), graduate the BACS before you complete the UMPI BABA PM & IS (make sure to take the classes that transfer into the MAOL), then finish with the MAOL. Voila, you've got all 3 without needing the extra 24 credits at TESU and you have this in a different order.... TESU BACS > UMPI BABA PM & IS > UMPI MAOL

Hello, thanks for your reply. What I will do is the UMPI BABA and MAOL and probably choose US SNHU for the BSCS or do a masters just like the previous guy suggested

That works too, or you can do the UMPI BA Comp Sci when it comes out and ladder that to a Masters from one of the MOOC's that are on Coursera or Edx...

Nobody knows how long it will take for the CS program to come out. I wouldn't wait for it.
