For all of those interested, I recently obtained an email (this morning) from O.P. Jindal University. They are changing their prices for the MAPP and Master in International Relations, Security, and Strategy via the partnership with Coursera from 6k to roughly 3k for those who may be interested. The degrees are also being streamlined from a 2 year format to a 1 year format. Per the email:

    - MAPP: An interdisciplinary curriculum covering public policy theory and practice, including economics, governance, programme design, social sciences, and research methodologies.

  • Specialised Learning Tracks (MAPP Only)

@collegecareerstudent, can you tell us something about the experience, coursework, assessment, etc. of your program?

So, for me, I joined the program a year and a half ago and paid the full 6k price. Everything is on Coursera. There is a 1500-3000 word essay or every class and about 7 quizzes throughout the semester. Videos and transcripts for each lesson, optional live sessions. I have enjoyed the program. When I first started, they had a mandatory group cohort, but thankfully, they got rid of that after several students complained. I highly recommend the program, but I would have waited for the lower cost and faster degree program if I knew that would have been happening. The coursework is reasonable.

Are quizzes and tests proctored? Also, is there a final exam for each course?

The paper for each course is considered the final. The quizzes aren't proctored and students have two attempts at each one to pass.
