UoPeople to UMPI - Seeking Advice on Completing Bachelor’s Degree - Robotik - 10-21-2024 Hi everyone, I’m an international student completing my Associate's Degree in Computer Science from UoPeople. I’d like to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree at UMPI or another regionally accredited university (EU universities are also an option as long as they accept credits from UoPeople but I am not a non-EU student, so keep that in mind). Age: 25 Degree Goal: Bachelor’s Degree related to Computer Science or IT Current Regional Accredited Credits: None Current ACE Credits: Google IT Support Professional Certificate (via Coursera), planning to do some Sophia courses Budget: Around $5,000 Dedicated time to study: 40 hours/week Timeline: I’d like to complete the degree within 6 months. Tuition Assistance: None. I’m looking for advice on the best way to finish my degree as quickly as possible. Thank you! RE: UoPeople to UMPI - Seeking Advice on Completing Bachelor’s Degree - Avidreader - 10-21-2024 I believe UMPI doesn't accept transferred credits from NA universities, but TESU will agree to evaluate them. In the past UMPI has accepted some courses from U of the P. UMPI does not have a CS or IT program. We understand what International means, but it doesn't indicate a country. Some details may seem not needed or trivial, but with more info - along with your study habits, etc, would allow us to provide better and more concrete advice. There are multiple threads on this, have you done a search? Did you review any posts or threads of mine in regards CS/IT related degrees? Do you already have an institution or two, maybe more you're interested in attending already? |
