TESU New Website - LevelUP - 10-08-2024 It looks like TESU recently launched its new website design. However, certain pages, such as degree programs, are still in the old website format. https://www.tesu.edu/ RE: TESU New Website - bluebooger - 10-08-2024 ADMISSION

Lots of links weren't working. And they made a big public announcement how it was in the works for a while and it's now live. I wouldn't be bragging about a website that lacks basic functions. https://www.tesu.edu/degrees-programs/find-your-program.php?search=&programtype=&interestareas=&schools=&format=&pageindex=0&pagesize=12 Yes I want to scroll through 14 pages to find a degree. Have these designers ever used a website? RE: TESU New Website - Pats20 - 10-09-2024 My motto has always been “if it’s not broken, don’t fix it”. But my gosh that’s such a rare mindset anymore. RE: TESU New Website - sanantone - 10-09-2024 I don't like the new logo, but the website is more organized. I only knew how to navigate the mess that was the old website because I was a TESU student who had to figure out things on my own. On their old website, you either had to look through a long list of degree programs or navigate to several department pages to see everything. RE: TESU New Website - Pats20 - 10-09-2024 I didn’t think the old site was complicated at all. I agree that the new site looks just about like every other one out there now, but I don’t think the old one was broken and I don’t care if their website looked outdated, I’ve seen far worse. At the end of the day, new logos and new flashy web sites cost money. A lot of money. I guess as long as they don’t raise tuition or cut back on alt credit to help pay for it. Holding on to old technology costs money in the long run. TESU had to raise tuition in 2021. They had a budget deficit in 2023 because of declining enrollment. I think the only program that's growing is nursing. TESU has been struggling for a while. Chris Christie wanted to merge it with Rutgers. RE: TESU New Website - Pats20 - 10-09-2024 Yes. I mean I get it. I’m just not big on change. That’s on me. I hope TESU hangs in there and whatever helps them I’m okay with, as long as they don’t squeeze out the Alt credit opportunities. RE: TESU New Website - Pats20 - 10-09-2024 I bet they could do better with enrollment if they were more competitive with their tuition. That would go a lot further than updating their website. |
