Got a DM spammer - TINASAM - 04-11-2024

Don't know how to report Jasminee to the mods, but I got this:
Hello Tinasam, I have followed your thread and I’m excited to connect with you. I am an online tutor with 7 years of experience (class discussions, essays, projects, dissertations, online exams etc.), and I was thinking I can help you with some coursework at a small fee.  If interested, you can message me at (email hidden) we’ll talk more about it. I'm looking forward to hearing from you and helping you thrive in your studies.

I got a DM from a member who also got this a few hours ago, I've already banned the user... Making a sticky thread, please update this thread or private message one of the moderators and we will investigate. I decided after a few 'spam private messages', to ban the person.

Members, just wondering if other people are seeing these type of messages?  AI Bots or spammers might be getting a bit creative, instead of the usual spam and linking to their personal websites in a post, they're just posting and having a URL of their casino, gaming site, or whatever in their profile instead... I would highly advise 'reporting' these posters for the time being.

Mods, I've been noticing 'one post wonders'... Most of the info in the post is relevant or somewhat on-topic... But these posters all have one thing in common, their profile has a website url (you can see it in each post, even without viewing their profile), to something such as online casinos, games, etc. I feel the need to ban, but won't until we look into these further...
