Accreditation of Christian Orgnization - hsufeng - 09-14-2024

Hi I am currently studying for a bachelor's degree in theology at NationsU, and I would like to transfer some of religion credits. NationsU is accredited by NA, and they only accept transfer credits from officially recognized institutions (NA or RA). I have asked them, and they said that ACE cannot be transferred in, and they only accept military credits for ACE credits. So I wanted to get some religion credits from another institution and transfer.
I found this organization: https://www.christianleadersinstitute.org/accreditation-status/
Christian Leaders Institute holds candidate status with the Association for Biblical Higher Education Commission on Accreditation, 5850 T. G. Lee Blvd., Ste. 130, Orlando, FL 32822, 407.207.0808. Candidate status is a pre-accreditation status granted to those institutions that meet the ABHE Conditions of Eligibility and that possess such qualities as may provide a basis for achieving accreditation status within five years.
Click here to view Christian Leaders Institute on ABHE’s directory.
Click here to view Christian Leaders Institute on the US Department of Education’s Database of Accredited Postsecondary Institutions and Programs.

It can be found in the U.S. Department of Education's Database of Accredited Postsecondary Institutions and Programs, and it has ABHE accreditation. Is one of these two accreditations equivalent to NA?
Thanks for your hlep!

Each country has their own regulations or rules... For those here in the US, stick to RA/NA: Here is the list of RA, NA, NA (Faith-Based), and Programmatic/Secondary accreditation: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-TRACS-WOLBI-Word-of-Life-Bible-institute?pid=310078#pid310078

Here's the Christian Leaders Institute thread previous, I also have the above link in this post, they're not NA yet though, they're in Candidate status, you won't get any transfers to NationsU because of that: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-Christian-Leaders-Institute%E2%80%A6?pid=403600#pid403600

I think it's important to remember, American Council on Education (ACE) credit recommendations are just that - recommendations. Only the institution at which you intend to utilize such credits will make the decision whether or not to award credit based on the ACE recommendations.

You can ask if they'll accept credits from Liberty University's ICE (credit-by-exam) or Liberty University's Wilmington School of the Bible, but Nations is so cheap, it might not even be worth it.
