Degree plan help - RajSingh - 08-28-2024

Greetings Everyone,

Thanks to all of you for this wonderful forum. I misplaced my original high school transcripts, so I completed a diploma from Excel High, Florida, in 2008.

Annual Sophia membership just expired. Currently studying German at Modernstates.

1 RA credit for Pierpoint. Clackamas LIB 101 has a backlog.

ASU. waiting for my Asurite ID.

Can I try TECEP's for RA credits?

I am kind of lost.

Best bet would be to try to enroll in Excelsior University's Bachelor of Liberal Studies program. However, the only problem I see is that you will still need upper-level credits. It's the same thing with Thomas Edison State University you can try one of the business degrees since you have sophia credits but it would still require upper-level credits to be done.

List of Sophia Credits that will Transfer to Excelsior University:

newdegree.

Thanks for your prompt reply. Would I be able to gather some upper level credits at Study.com or any other providers? I'd like to transfer the maximum amount of credits I possibly can. Is there a degree plan I can follow for Excelsior?

Should I invest a few more months on sophia.org to complete the labs and some of the latest courses?

Thank you.

My suggestion is to keep your options open, you need to use ACE/NCCRS for Excelsior upper level and the 7 residency credits, it may cost up to $5K or more... Your other option is to do the UMPI BLS as you will have up to 60 credits for electives, even if it takes you two sessions, that's just $3400, if you need a third session, that would be about the same cost as Excelsior at $5100 as they're $1700 per session.

For study dot com you can check out this old thread , another option might be Coopersmith

Thanks a lot for the information.

Is there a Degree plan for Bachelor of Liberal Studies program at UMPI? I don't see one listed here.

I can try two sessions and be open to a possible third one.

RE: Degree plan help - jg_nuy - 08-29-2024

Actually, you may have gone too quickly through the UMPI plans, it's the last 5 in the list... These 5 are the BLS with minors

RE: Degree plan help - RajSingh - 09-12-2024

Thank you all for your help

Can I still try for the Pierpoint BOG with my above credits before the 10/04 deadline?
I have registered for the 1 RA credit at ASU and am on the 3rd module.
