UMPI Latin Credit - Chimera - 08-27-2024

Working through my degree plan for UMPI after taking some time off for the summer, Looking at my language requirement and although i know the sophia Spanish is supposed to be one of the easiest ways to satisfy the credits I would love learning some latin in its place.

Does anyone know of any ACE Latin courses? My brief look through Ace's National Guide didn't show much.
Alternately I'd be open to look into any pay per course programs like ASU's Universal Learner.

I know there likely isn't many options if any but if anyone knows of any id greatly appreciate the tip.

UT Austin still offers Latin but Spanish on Sophia is a lot cheaper.

It can be transcripted at different universities, for example Jacksonville University.

Why latin? I took it for my MA but courses are pricey and ACE courses do not exist. If you arent going to classics or ancient history its sort of pointless.

Purely out of interest, doesn’t look like there’s anything worth wild but thank you everyone for the advice

If you know the language already, ACTFL is the best option... Otherwise, you'll have to take community college or university classes, even at partner institutions outside the US would work...
