Main Thread - Pierpoint gradution, questions, issues - Pikachu - 08-21-2024 bjcheung77 Mod Edit: Oct 4 is the graduation application deadline for Pierpont, you apply at least a week or two early, I would apply for grad today as I mentioned. Even though you're doing classes for Sophia.org in Sept, you don't need to send them everything by Oct 4, you just need to apply for grad. You can send the Sophia.org classes once you are done a 'batch' at a time, say 10 classes using Credly. Try to get everything complete before Oct 15, or third week of Oct and send those in, the latest is end of Oct as they need to go through grad audit beginning of Nov for Dec 2024 graduation. Is it just me or is Pierpont blocking access to non-US IP addresses.. I've emailed their IT Help Desk but it's kind of funny they allow admissions from internationals yet block access to ROAR and email via their firewall rules LOL! Pierpont site (ROAR) mostly allows non-US IP addresses, the only limited thing is login to their MS SSO (it is very rarely needed for my.pierpont.edu - once a month?.. But yes, it is always needed for email). Use some random US VPN for that MS SSO, and it will work fine (I am using Firefox and free VPN USA lite add-on). I am still patiently waiting for the graduation... Or some message. DEGREES AWARDED Pending: AAS Degree Date: empty https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-Anyone-receive-their-BOG-degree?pid=425486#pid425486 - from USA, but seems also not graduated yet. RE: BOG AAS - Any international graduates yet? - Avidreader - 08-21-2024 I used a valid US address to send the paper access code, but I did everything else abroad. Also phoned Pierpont's help desk to fully access ROAR. Luckily, long distance phone calls are much cheaper today than 15 years ago. I graduated Dec 2023. I will assume either this IP address depends on which foreign country or they implemented this change just a few months ago. RE: Pierpont new residency requirement - doctorTorres - 08-21-2024 how do I reach out?! I have all my credits they haven't evaluated them and I have all requirements for graduation RE: BOG AAS - Any international graduates yet? - mdn - 08-21-2024 Just got an email about changes with login to Pierpont: Quote:In an effort to simplify the login process, the way you access the Portal is changing Monday morning, August 26th.So even for my.pierpont.edu - VPN will be needed. P.S. Still not graduated. Main Thread - Pierpoint gradution, questions, issues - lusjin - 08-23-2024 Hi all, Just had a quick question regarding sending in my credits to Pierpont... On the wiki its telling me sent my in my credits to ESprocessing@pierpont.edu rather then admit@pierpont.edu. Is this still the case?? With everything going on I'm worried I only have one chance to send these in and I don't want to do it wrong. Thank you so much! L RE: Wiki question Pierpoint - jg_nuy - 08-23-2024 esprocessing@pierpont.edu worked best when handling transcripts for my son. RE: Wiki question Pierpoint - tdbeyer - 08-23-2024 I sent my Sophia transcripts through them and had no issues at all, came through within two days or so. I also have tried sending in the ASU graded credit (around 7/18) but nothing has come up quite yet. I also know that they're extremely backed up with that side of it, so I can let you know when that comes in, or I might try again and see what happens. Can anybody get through to Pierpont? - jackdrare - 08-24-2024 Hey all, I believe I have all that’s necessary for the BOG degree. I’ve sent the Credly transcript for my Sophia courses and my community college transcript to David Beighley. It’s been about 2 weeks with no response from him. I was able to get to Nancy but all she did was point me back to Mr. Beighley. Any way to expedite this process or should I start looking elsewhere to obtain an Associates Degree? |
