GEC Sophia credit question - ecrane100 - 08-14-2024 Texas, USA Your Age:27 BA in Psychology Current Regional Accredited Credits: 15 Current ACE Credits: 33 Hey all, excited to be a part of the forum! Just had a quick question with regard to UMPI's GEC requirements: Would Sophia's U.S. Government class work for both 1C and 5E? I've read through the plans, roadmap, and transfer equivalents table but have been unable to draw a clear conclusion. My motivation here is to skip workplace communication or public speaking if possible, so I'm wondering if taking U.S. Govt would negate the requirement for those classes. Thanks in advance! You will need an additional 3 credits to reach the minimum 40 credits required. There are several options available, such as Intro to Psychology or Ancient Greek Philosophers RE: GEC Sophia credit question - ecrane100 - 08-14-2024 (08-14-2024, 05:04 PM)LevelUP Wrote: American Government will fulfill 1C and 5E. While your degree program might not require that class specifically, there are likely some other classes that will require a speaking component and the sophia one is graded extremely easily based on what ive experienced and read from others |
