What are your travel plans? - coldcoffee - 05-10-2024 Hello Everyone, It's already 5th month of the year.. What are your travel this year? For me, I am planning to Visit Egypt, Did anybody recently visited there? What are you recommended destination and any heads up on what to and not to do there? Your advices would be really appreciated! RE: What are your travel plans? - bjcheung77 - 05-10-2024 There are so many things I want to do, so many places I want to go, just too many to think of... What's holding me back is the cashflow at the moment, otherwise, I'll be travelling already, haha... RE: What are your travel plans? - coldcoffee - 05-12-2024 Yes, I agree that money should really one of the consideration when it comes to travel, but if you will be given a chance, what place can you think of you want to travel first? RE: What are your travel plans? - bjcheung77 - 05-13-2024 There are only two continents I've not been to, Africa and Antarctica, thinking I want an African Safari and check out the animals, fresh food or fruits, sunset, weather etc... I've only gone to Lima, Peru in South America, and Canada/Mexico in North America, I've been to Australia/New Zealand, Central America, Europe (a few countries only really), I generally head to Asia (South East Asia in particular). RE: What are your travel plans? - coldcoffee - 05-13-2024 Whoa, you travelled alot also, speaking of africa.. I will be heading in Egypt next month, funny story was I was just scrolling and reading some article and I just got fascinated from this article https://gowithguide.com/blog/egypt-tourism-statistics-2023-all-you-need-to-know-5312 I never thought that there's a million of people visiting in Egypt it says there that 14.7 million.. I was just so shock and amazed at the same time, I told myself that I wanted to be part of the people visiting there this year. lol I love checking out animals, fresh food or fruits, sunset, weather but I think I am really into History and Culture. I've been to Singapore 2 months ag and it was quite fascinating and everything there was so amazing clean and conveninet and even there foods are so delicious, Singapore was also full culture and history they really lives up being the most richest country in Asia! RE: What are your travel plans? - bjcheung77 - 05-14-2024 Yeah, Malaysia and Singapore are a few places I've gone to a few times... Kind of interesting how "Forest City" in Johor Bahru ended up, I would have thought it was going to be man made paradise as they say, now it's a ghost town... If I ever win the lottery my daydream is a journey on the Blue Train - Pretoria to Cape Town. RE: What are your travel plans? - caffeinatedcarbon - 09-08-2024 I've heard great things about Dubai from a friend who had gone there, so there's a likelihood my passport would get stamped for UAE. I want to go to Egpyt too, like in the book, "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho. I don't mind the weather, but I think I do sometimes, and I hope I'm making sense. My country, the Philippines, is a tropical breeze for someone who had gone here from Texas, so there's that. A little hesitation about the weather, but that's normal, I guess. RE: What are your travel plans? - RachelB - 09-30-2024 I'm from the U.S. and have been to Uganda and Honduras. I would love to travel to, and live in, Cambodia for awhile. I'm starting to learn Khmer, so that once I have some money, I'll be ready. ? RE: What are your travel plans? - bjcheung77 - 10-01-2024 Any recommendations for places to "WFH" (work from home, remote work)? I hear South East Asia and South Asia are the route to go... |
