Online Graduate Statistics course - Stonybeach - 04-25-2024 Any recommendations for an online graduate level statistics course. The cheaper the better but needs to be RA accredited. My application to graduate school requires a current statistics course within past ten years so I need to take a fresh one. Thanks in advance. RE: Online Graduate Statistics course - Vle045 - 04-25-2024 Does it have to be graduate level? Or do they mean undergrad statistics needed? RE: Online Graduate Statistics course - Stonybeach - 04-25-2024 "An approved graduate-level statistics course taken within the last six years" RE: Online Graduate Statistics course - bjcheung77 - 04-25-2024 Which degree are you going for and which state are you in? RA school in Kansas. Needs to be a statistics course in any discipline (Business, psychology, sociology, nursing, etc.) at 500 level or greater. Looking for RA, cheap and online. Does not specify the number of credits. RE: Online Graduate Statistics course - Jonathan Whatley - 04-25-2024 Portage Learning offers the 3 semester hour graduate-level course CNSL503 Statistics for $669, transcribed by Geneva College, an RA college in Pennsylvania. RE: Online Graduate Statistics course - Vle045 - 04-25-2024 Ohhh…. Do you have access to a benefit portal like benefitHub or Perkspot? If so, you might be able to snag it for free minus maybe a small fee, I have both of those portals and you can enroll at DeVry and take a free class as a “trial”. I did this to save a little money and just selected a graduate certificate that included the class i wanted. I might have paid $100 in total for an application fee or something. I am not sure. And then when the course was over, I told them that I needed to take a break and that I would re-enroll when I was ready. You can also just withdraw. Jonathan, this is outstanding! Portage Learning is listed in the US Dept of Education as an accredited institution so I can get tuition reimbursement from my employer. You are awesome! DAPIP | Location Profile (ed.gov) RE: Online Graduate Statistics course - Vle045 - 04-25-2024 Here’s another one. Try ACE. You can enroll as a student at large, then go to courses. When you go to the list of courses, there’s a graduate course in the “Statistics” category. I would have suggested them sooner, but I didn’t see the statistics category. I think the cost works out to about $275 a credit. https://ace.edu/degree-programs/take-a-class/ RE: Online Graduate Statistics course - bjcheung77 - 04-25-2024 I wonder what alternative credit providers that partner with institutions are listed in the DAPIP, there are a few in the two links I had earlier, Portage is in that list along with Outlier.org (you can get a transcript from one of the partners), WestCott, and so on, if you are part of EdAssist or Guild, you should have many options as you get many options practically free. |
