Just down the road at UIUC is the National Petascale Computing Facility, with the Blue Waters system. 1.5 petabytes of Ram and 500 petabytes of memory. Been in use since 2013, and it wasn't even the first undergrad system. Built using several hundred PlayStation systems if I remember right.
