Recent Evaluation for Google IT Support - MissRN - 04-04-2024 Unsure of exactly where to post this but I recently transferred the Google IT Support Professional cert taken via Coursera and it transferred differently than what is there as the equivalent for TESU on the Wiki. Got 15 credits for it. Came in as 3 CR each for: CIS-1070, CYB-1200, ITS-1400, ITS-1600, ITS-2610 Screenshot added also. Recent Evaluation for Google IT Support - jch - 04-04-2024 These are the same credits I reported receiving in October for completing the Google IT Support Certificate via ASU ULC: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/showthread.php?tid=41474&pid=406433#pid406433 Thank you for the confirmation. Although both versions rely on the same ACE review, the Coursera edition has a different Credly badge and issuer, so there were still some lingering questions regarding how it would be evaluated. With the current set of transfer equivalencies, the Google IT Support Certificate is a fantastic source of several important credits for the TESU BSIT and some other programs. RE: Recent Evaluation for Google IT Support - bjcheung77 - 04-05-2024 Great stuff, so TESU now takes these as 15 ACE recommended credits... Works good for the balanced mix/match trifecta of certs, degree, experience, even if you're not going to get a BS IT for example. RE: Recent Evaluation for Google IT Support - Captainrekt000 - 04-22-2024 Can confirm this as well! I just got the full 15 credits for CIS-1070, CYB-1200, ITS-1400, ITS-1600, ITS-2610 this week! The next question is......I'm set to finish my BA CS + Bio (dual major), AS Business Admin, and AS Math by the end of 2024. Is it worth delaying graduation for a second BS Information Tech? I would only need 15 more TESU credits on top of the degrees listed above. ITS-3400, CMP-3540, ITS-3630, CYB-4500, APS-4010 Recent Evaluation for Google IT Support - jch - 04-22-2024 (04-22-2024, 10:05 AM)Captainrekt000 Wrote: The next question is......I'm set to finish my BA CS + Bio (dual major), AS Business Admin, and AS Math by the end of 2024. FYI, due to the change in degree names in last year's catalog and strict enforcement of a provision of the multiple degrees policy, TESU may not allow you to graduate with both the AS-Math and AS-Business Admin. You'd be okay if you were still under an old catalog version listing ASNSM-Math. RE: Recent Evaluation for Google IT Support - bjcheung77 - 04-22-2024 @Captainrekt000, it really depends on you... Where did you get your upper level Bio & CS classes? Where are you going to get the upper level IT classes? So it still shows up when I look my TESU SelfService as: Associate After Bachelor's AS Business Administration Associate After Bachelor's AS Mathematics I wouldn't be too mad though. I'd take the AS Math if they make a big stink that I can't have both RE: Recent Evaluation for Google IT Support - bjcheung77 - 04-22-2024 I think you should be fine for the Associates, you'll have to find out after the fact, it won't matter, you can change it to the AA, AAS, instead of the ASBA... and get yourself a different associates. The wiki was updated. https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Coursera This helps anyone who wants to do the IT degree in one term. That plan is now updated as well. https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sample_TESU_BS_Information_Technology_Degree_Plan |
